Fohama was formed to provide electrical products for the rural development of our country. We were fist formed to satisfy that need of the market, and then we had a non-stop expansion.

In 1998 FOHAMA ELECTROMECANICA certified its quality control process according to ISO 9000 regulations, with the DET NORSKE VERITAS international organization.

This certificates guarantee our customers that verification of the entire building process is performed according to international standards.

Our products are designed and built according to IRAM and IEC regulations.

· IRAM 2279 and IRAM 2247 for the distribution of electrical power in both urban and rural areas.
· IRAM 2250 for the distribution of electrical power in urban areas and for energy distribution companies and industries, that use mid-voltage and high power devices.
· IRAM 2476 for the sub distribution of electrical power.
